Our (Rough) Schedule
Our rough schedule for the Wee Con 2026 currently looks like this:
Friday, 6th November: Site opens before 2 PM, activities in theater until 10 PM at the latest
Saturday, 7th November: Activities from 9-10 AM to 10 PM
Sunday, 8th November: Activities from 9-10 AM on, party in the evening until midnight
Like 2025, we're aiming for a mix of panels, workshops, and other activities both inside and outside the venue (such as karaoke or even a piratical afternoon tea!) And we'll have plenty of down time and spaces for gathering and mingling and crafting.
Thanks so much for your feedback on what you enjoyed and your ideas for making Wee Con even better. (For example, yes: we will make sure to have meal breaks on all days!)
Panels
Panels will generally take place Saturday and Sunday for Wee Con 2026. We are planning on three types of panels:
Regular Panels: 45 minutes max, any topic
ED Talks/NED Talks: shorter talks, about 15-20 minutes max. ED Talks are for any subject, but NED Talks are for things that are NSFW or not for the faint of heart!
Little Bits: 5 minutes max. Want to infodump about the role of citrus in the economy of Barbados in the early 1700's? This might be your best venue!
A couple of notes:
Please submit one form entry per panel idea (that helps the seagulls sort things).
Your idea doesn't have to be fully baked, just give us the best info you can.
You may prerecord your panel if you wish, regardless of how you're attending Wee Con (online or in-person).
All panelists will be asked to submit their slides or other materials no less than 2 weeks before Wee Con. This lets us get everything organized on the AV side to make things run smoothly during the con.
